Connect Four Counseling, LLC is a Christian agency that specializes in offering a range of counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. The agency was founded on the premise that each of us is connected to four main sources: our past, our future, each other, and our faith. These connections uniquely prepare us to resist or foster positive change in our lives.

Our Team

Our team is led by Shawnette Miller, a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of experience in working with individuals and families. Shawnette completed her undergraduate studies at Spelman College, where she received a BA in Religion, minoring in Psychology. She then went on to earn her Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Clark Atlanta University.

Shawnette is certified to work in the school system as a school social worker in the State of Georgia. She has received training in suicide prevention, couples therapy, trauma CBT, DBT, and NIMS (National Incident Management System) training. Her extensive experience in working with individuals and families in crisis has given her a unique perspective on the importance of building strong relationships.

Norman Miller, Shawnette's husband, is also a key member of the team. He has more than 25 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families in crisis. Norman has completed his undergraduate studies at Georgia State University and went on to earn his Master's Degree in Ministry from Luther Rice Seminary.

• Female Adolescent Issues: We offer counseling services specifically designed to help teenage girls cope with everyday challenges and pressures.
