Literacy & Language Center

At the Literacy and Language Center, we are dedicated to helping students of all ages reach their full potential in learning and in life. Our team of highly trained specialists uses research-based, multi-sensory methods to develop individualized plans that address difficulties in reading, spelling, writing, verbal expression, comprehension, critical thinking, and study skills. We believe in a student-centered approach to education, which encourages students to take an active role in their learning process and promotes growth in academic skills, confidence, and self-esteem.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a supportive one-to-one learning environment that fosters a love of learning, builds confidence, and helps students overcome learning challenges. We work with students of all ages, from 5 years old to adults, and have experience with learning differences, learning disabilities, dyslexia, central auditory processing disorders (CAPD), ADHD, cognitive and neurological disorders, and autism spectrum disorder.

Our Approach

Our approach is centered around the individual needs of each student. We use a combination of research-based methods and multisensory techniques to develop customized programs that address each student's unique learning style and goals. Our staff is highly trained in literacy remediation and language development, and we work closely with parents, case managers, and other educators to ensure that our students receive comprehensive support.
