Our History

CitraGen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. was founded and incorporated in 2014 by three experienced pharmaceutical professionals. Since then, we have grown to become a trusted name in the pharmaceutical industry. Our commitment to quality and innovation has enabled us to establish a diverse pipeline, including over-the-counter (OTC) products, prescription generics (ANDA), and new drug products (NDA).

Our Capabilities

At CitraGen Pharmaceuticals, we have a wide range of manufacturing capabilities that enable us to produce high-quality drug products. Our manufacturing capabilities include tablets, bi-layer tablets, effervescent tablets, capsules, and oral powders. We have a dedicated quality team with an independent quality system that is equipped with major analytical instruments such as HPLCs, GC, FT-IR, UVs, XRF, dissolution, disintegration, environmental chambers, etc. We have an annual capacity of about 500 million dosage units.

Our research expertise includes developing immediate release dosage forms, modified/controlled/extended/timed release dosage forms, liquid/semi-solid topical dosage forms, ophthalmic delivery systems, transmucosal/buccal delivery systems, transdermal and sub-cutaneous delivery systems.
