Ridley United Soccer Club is a reputable soccer organization based in Ridley Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Established over two decades ago, RUSC has been dedicated to the development of youth soccer players by providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all participants. Our club offers a range of programs tailored to meet the needs of players at various skill levels, from the Little Tykes program for the youngest players to the Travel and Intramural programs for older children.

Programs Offered by RUSC

1. Little Tykes: The Little Tykes program is designed for children aged 3-5 years old who are just starting their soccer journey. This program aims to introduce young players to the basic skills and rules of soccer through fun and engaging activities. Our experienced coaches create a nurturing atmosphere where children can develop their motor skills, social interaction, and love for the game.

2. Intramurals: The Intramural program caters to players aged 5-14 years old who want to play soccer in a non-competitive setting. Players are divided into age and skill-appropriate groups and participate in weekly games. The focus is on developing fundamental soccer skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork while promoting a fun and inclusive experience.

3. Travel: RUSC's Travel program is for committed and skilled players aged 8-19 years old who wish to compete at a higher level. Our Travel teams participate in local and regional leagues, tournaments, and showcases. The program aims to develop well-rounded soccer players by emphasizing advanced techniques, tactical strategies, physical fitness, and mental preparation.

4. TOPSoccer: The Outreach Program for Soccer (TOPSoccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities. RUSC is proud to offer this program in partnership with Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer (EPYS). TOPSoccer promotes the inclusion of children with disabilities in the sport of soccer by providing a supportive and adapted environment for learning and playing the game.

5. Development Program: The Development Program is for dedicated U7-U10 players who seek to enhance their skills and prepare for the Travel program. Players receive supplemental training and participate in local tournaments and festivals, allowing them to develop their skills and understanding of the game in a more challenging environment.

6. Camps & Clinics: Throughout the year, RUSC offers various camps and clinics for players at all levels. These specialized programs provide players with an opportunity to focus on specific aspects of the game, such as goalkeeping, striking, or defending. Camps and clinics are led by experienced and licensed coaches from RUSC and our affiliate, the Philadelphia Union.
