Our Story

JAZZEDY, a name derived from the fusion of Executive Chef and Owner D.C. Bland II's two daughters, Jasmine and Kennedy, and his love for playing jazz and gospel bass guitar, was conceived while he was studying at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Scottsdale, AZ in 2009. The vision was to create a culinary enterprise that merged the sophisticated "art on a plate" techniques of haute cuisine restaurants with the comforting, budget-friendly food typically found in mom-and-pop cafes and diners. Incorporated in 2011, JAZZEDY began by providing Personal Chef and catering services in the Metro Phoenix area. Due to popular demand, we have since expanded our offerings to include culinary classes, and are currently developing our mobile kitchen concept to bring our unique food to local outdoor events, festivals, and fairs.

Mobile Kitchen

Introducing JAZZEDY Chefs' Rhythm Kitchen, launching Fall 2021! Our mobile kitchen aims to bridge the gap between the exceptional flavor profiles of Phoenix's premier brick-and-mortar restaurants and the lively, affordable atmosphere of a food truck festival. Our distinctive menu includes items such as Duck confit and Brie quesadillas with cherry-tequila salsa, crispy Pig Wings, our signature Steak Bomb, Scallop Fritters, and the indulgent Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding with Frangelico cream, setting us apart from the rest.
