Rampart Surveys, LLC is a professional land surveying company that has been proudly serving the community since its establishment in June 1997. Our company was founded by Kevin Lloyd, PLS, who began his career in land surveying in 1975 and earned his Colorado PLS license in 1990. After many years of dedicated service, Kevin sold the company to Eric Simonson, PLS, and Russ Wood in January 2018, who continue to uphold the high-quality service and support that our clients have come to expect.

At Rampart Surveys, LLC, we pride ourselves on our team of experienced and knowledgeable professionals who are committed to providing accurate and reliable land surveying services. We have a single office located in Woodland Park, Colorado, and our team of six full-time employees, along with one part-time employee, are equipped with the latest technology and tools to handle all aspects of boundary surveys, land survey plats, topographic surveys, design surveys, ALTA surveys, and construction staking projects.

As a full-service land surveying company, we offer a wide range of services to meet the needs of our clients. Our services include:

• Monumented Land Surveys and Land Survey Plats: Our monumented land surveys involve a thorough search for existing monuments that define the boundary of the subject parcel as well as the adjoining parcels. We then use this information to create accurate land survey plats.
• Improvement Survey Plat: Our improvement survey plats involve locating all existing improvements on the parcel, such as buildings, fences, and other structures, in addition to the boundary survey.
• ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey: An ALTA survey is the most detailed form of survey available and is typically used in the transfer of ownership of commercial property. Our ALTA surveys meet the standards set by the American Land Title Association (ALTA) and the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS).
• Subdivision Plats and Replats: We offer subdivision plats and replats for property developers and owners who wish to divide or merge parcels of land. Our services include the preparation of legal descriptions, exhibits, and other documents required for the subdivision or replat process.
• Topographic Surveys / Site Design Surveys: Our topographic surveys and site design surveys provide accurate information about the natural and man-made features of a parcel of land, such as elevation, contours, buildings, and other improvements.
• Drone Aerial Topographic Surveys: We offer drone aerial topographic surveys for a faster and more cost-effective way to gather data about large or remote parcels of land.
• Site Plans: We prepare site plans as part of the application for a building permit. Our site plans meet the requirements of local building codes and regulations.
• Improvement Location Certificates: Our improvement location certificates provide accurate information about the location of improvements on a parcel of land in relation to the boundary survey.
• Flood Elevation Certificates: Our flood elevation certificates provide accurate information about the elevation of a structure in relation to the base flood elevation, which is required for flood insurance purposes.
• Construction Staking: Our construction staking services involve the placement of markers and stakes to guide the construction of buildings, roads, and other improvements in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
