Who We Are

Morrow Surveying, Inc. is a family-owned and operated land surveying business with a rich history dating back to the 1940s. Founded on the principles of integrity, quality, and customer service, we have steadily grown into a reputable firm serving clients throughout California and Western Nevada. For over four decades, our expertise has been instrumental in shaping the landscape of Northern California, particularly the Greater Sacramento region, where we have established a deep understanding of the local area.

Our journey began with Frank Morrow, the founder's grandfather, who honed his surveying skills during his time as a Fire Direction Officer in the US Marine Corps. After serving his country, Frank dedicated himself to the surveying profession, working for various public and private firms before obtaining his professional license. In 1971, he partnered with Emmott Sutcliffe, forming Sutcliffe & Morrow. His son, Tom Morrow, joined the business after graduating high school, marking the beginning of a family legacy in land surveying.

Tom later purchased the company, establishing Tom O. Morrow, Inc. in 1982, which eventually evolved into Morrow Surveying. Today, the company is led by Matt Morrow, the third generation to carry on the family's tradition. Under his leadership, Morrow Surveying has embraced innovation, expanding its services to include cutting-edge drone and mapping technologies while remaining steadfastly committed to the core values instilled by Frank Morrow.
