Our History

Diehl Development, Inc.'s journey began in 1987 when Charlie Diehl, then 22, embarked on a mission to provide superior earthwork development. Armed with an International TD8 bulldozer and a Yumbo 3964B excavator, he initially focused on residential development. The company's potential soon became apparent, leading to a transition into the commercial market. Drawing from 23 years of experience operating a successful gravel quarry in LeRoy NY, Diehl Development ventured into large mass grading projects for general contractors, moving up to 300,000 CY of earth per project. Expanding into the public work market, we initially concentrated on athletic fields before solidifying our presence as a prime contractor, delivering top-tier quality in all markets.
