Little By Little

Little by Little is a unique and high-quality childcare option for families, founded by a pair of innovative childcare experts, Jessica and Martina. With a shared vision to prioritize play and individuality, they created a space where children can grow and thrive. Located in the heart of Raleigh, NC, Little by Little provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to develop holistically and build a strong foundation for their lifelong learning journey.

Our Team

Our dedicated team of educators is led by Jessica Haines, who earned her degree in Creative Writing from North Carolina State University and attained an Early Childhood Montessori Diploma for children ages 3-6 years old. With over 7 years of experience in educational play at Marbles Kids Museum and various accredited preschools, Jessica brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role.

Martina Esposito, co-founder of Little by Little, holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and has over 11 years of experience as an Early Childhood Play Specialist at Marbles Kids Museum. With a natural talent for inspiring learning through play, Martina creates a warm and welcoming environment for children to explore and discover.

Our Programs

At Little by Little, we offer a range of programs designed around child-initiated learning through playfully guided experiences. Our flexible, part-time preschool program encourages children to explore and learn at their own pace. During the summer, we continue our part-time, preschool play through our summer camps, best suited for children ages 2-4 years old.

We also provide evening childcare for parent's night's out and seasonal community events, as well as birthday parties in our space. Our Little building is also available for rent for mom group gatherings, playdate meetups, and informal get-togethers.

We believe in building a positive and supportive community that celebrates the unique strengths and potential of every child. That's why we reach beyond the classroom through close collaboration with families and our city in our effort to grow an inspired and engaged community of life-long learners.
