At Camp Highlander, we believe in building boys and girls of courage, honesty, integrity, and faith. Since 1957, we have been devoted to providing a fun-filled and electronics-free environment for children to grow and develop lifelong memories, authentic friendships, and a camp family to come home to year after year.

As a residential summer camp in Mills River, North Carolina, we partner with parents and families to build character and confidence in the lives of children. Our Story

Camp Highlander was founded on the principles of building character and confidence in children. Our Services

At Camp Highlander, we offer a range of services designed to provide a comprehensive summer camp experience for children. Our activities include riflery, kayaking, land sports, pottery, and many more. We also offer age-specific programming, off-camp adventures, and evening programs to keep children engaged and entertained.

What We Offer
