Oreland Swim Club

Welcome to Oreland Swim Club, a member-owned swim club located in the heart of Springfield Township, Montgomery County, PA. We are thrilled to celebrate our 67th season in 2024, and we owe our success to our fantastic members and their families. Our beautiful facilities, two pools, and family-friendly atmosphere make OSC the perfect destination for families looking to enjoy hot summer days and nights.

Our club offers a wide range of activities for people of all ages. We have a private baby pool, perfect for families with young children, and basketball, wiffle ball, and gaga for the older kids. Our adult-only swim periods and nighttime activities are ideal for adults and children to enjoy together. At Oreland Swim Club, there's always something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

To ensure the safety of all our members, we have rules and regulations that every member and guest must follow. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult, and children age 12 can be at the pool without an adult until 5 pm. Parents or guardians are responsible for watching their children in the baby pool, and all children aged 10 and under must pass a swim test before using the diving boards or swimming in the diving well. Smoking and vaping are not permitted on club grounds.

Our board members are dedicated to providing the best possible experience for all our members. Emily Murray, the President of the OSC Board of Directors, has two girls who are both on the OSC Dolphins Swim Team. Emily is a Spanish teacher in the Central Bucks School District and has loved living in Oreland for the past 10 years. Our Club Manager, Stephen Duncheskie, is always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Facilities

Oreland Swim Club boasts two beautiful pools and spectacular grounds that provide a family-friendly atmosphere for all our members. Our baby pool is perfect for families with young children, and our main pool offers a range of activities, including soft foam and squishy balls. We also have a private playground and basketball court for the older kids.

Our facilities are well-maintained and clean, and we take pride in ensuring that they are always in excellent condition. Our staff works hard to maintain our facilities to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all our members.

Activities

At Oreland Swim Club, we offer a wide range of activities for people of all ages. Our swim and dive team is a great way for kids to learn new skills, make new friends, and stay active during the summer. We have a competent coaching staff who works hard to develop young swimmers and divers and help them reach their full potential.

Our swim lesson program is perfect for families who want their children to learn how to swim or improve their swimming skills. Our instructors are experienced and certified, and they follow a structured curriculum that ensures all students achieve their goals.

We also have a range of social events throughout the summer that are fun for the whole family. From movie nights and BBQs to themed parties and tournaments, there's always something to look forward to at Oreland Swim Club.

Swimming & Diving Teams

Our swim and dive team is one of the best in the area. Our team competes in the Lower Bucks Swim League and participates in championships and invitationals. Our coaching staff is experienced and knowledgeable, and they are dedicated to developing young swimmers and divers.

Our swim and dive team provides a fun and competitive environment for kids of all ages and skill levels. We offer a range of training programs, including stroke development, endurance training, and diving instruction. Our team members have the opportunity to compete in meets throughout the summer, and we celebrate their achievements with team parties and awards ceremonies.

Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons at Oreland Swim Club are designed to teach children how to swim and develop their swimming skills. Our instructors follow a structured curriculum that ensures all students achieve their goals. We offer lessons for children of all ages and skill levels, from beginner to advanced.

Our lessons are affordable and flexible, and we work with families to schedule lessons that suit their busy schedules. We provide a safe and enjoyable learning environment, and our instructors are experienced and certified.

Coaches

Our coaching staff is experienced and knowledgeable, and they are dedicated to developing young swimmers and divers. Our coaches follow a structured training program that ensures all team members achieve their full potential.

Our coaches are also responsible for organizing team events and activities throughout the summer. They provide a supportive and encouraging environment that helps team members build confidence and self-esteem.

Schedule

Our swim and dive team schedule includes seven regular season meets and championships and invitationals. The schedule is designed to provide team members with a range of competitive opportunities and to help them build their skills and confidence.

We also offer swimming lessons and social events throughout the summer. Our schedule is flexible and accommodates families with busy schedules. We provide advance notice of all team events and activities, and we work with families to ensure that everyone can participate.

Swimming Records

Our swim and dive team has a rich history of competitive success. We maintain a record of all team achievements, including individual and team records. We celebrate our team members' achievements with team parties and awards ceremonies.
