At our practice, we understand that life can be challenging, and it's not always easy to navigate the complexities of our own minds. As a clinical psychologist, my mission is to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I believe that by gaining insight into your unique situation, you can learn to work with your mind more effectively, cultivate greater awareness, and ultimately, achieve greater well-being.

My Background and Philosophy

As a licensed clinical psychologist, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from late adolescents to adults. With over ten years of professional experience, I've had the opportunity to develop a unique approach that integrates cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and integrative therapies. I'm passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families overcome a wide range of challenges, from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and personality disorders.

Services

Consultation

The initial session(s) may be considered a consultation, where you and I will have a chance to meet, to talk about what you're looking for, to discuss the available options, and for you to get a sense of what it might be like to work with me. Following the consultation, we'll decide together on a course that may most meet your needs and preferences, and may be most likely to be helpful.

Individual Psychotherapy

As a full-time individual therapy provider, I treat late adolescents and adults. If you're interested in or need marital/couples therapy, group therapy, medication, or child therapy, I can assist you with referrals.

The Issues I Most Commonly Treat Include

Anxiety and Worry

Anger

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Panic Attacks

Social Anxiety and Shyness

Test Anxiety

Stress Management

Attentional Difficulty and Executive Functioning Issues

Therapy Philosophy

My basic philosophy is that life opens up when we learn to work with our minds more effectively. I believe that through therapy, you can develop greater awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and ultimately, achieve greater freedom and groundedness. My goal is to help you meet your own goals for treatment, learn to work with your mind more effectively, and cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself and your place in the world.
