Where Stories Come to Life. One Page at a Time
Welcome to the Hockessin BookShelf, a new and used bookstore located in Hockessin, Delaware, established in 2002. Our store is a small wonder, with 826 square feet of inventory space. We stock a little bit of everything, with our largest sections being fiction, mystery, romance, and children's books. We believe in the "Shop Local" movement and strive to maintain strong community partnerships.
Our staff is known for their excellent customer service and eclectic reading habits. We are passionate about books and love to recommend our favorite titles to customers. We have become the go-to store for summer reading, book groups, and fun in-store promotions.
Our store is more than just a place to buy books. It's a hub for the local community, where people can come together to share their love for reading. We host various events, including author visits, non-author events, book clubs, and workshops. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and engaging environment for book lovers of all ages.
