At Casework, we believe that the quality of an environment is one of the greatest and most overlooked sources of happiness. As an interior design studio based in Portland, Oregon, we are dedicated to creating approachable, usable, and personalized interiors that complement life. Our mission is to translate personalities into environments for everyday living. Founded in 2015 by Casey Keasler, our studio employs a range of ideas, materials, objects, and references to create unique spaces. We are driven by design, experience, narrative, and the belief that thoughtful design can be a means to live life to its fullest.

Our team is highly collaborative and driven by responsibility and research, looking towards the future with support from the past. We strive for innovation while diving deep into archives, believing in investing in quality over quantity and doing something right the first time. Each project, no matter the size, is considered with passion and attention to detail. Our goal is to understand our clients' needs and ideas and then translate them into a space that tells a unique story.

Our Story

Casey Keasler, our founder and design director, grew up on a construction site, literally. She spent her childhood in an 1860's Victorian in east Tennessee that her parents bought and remodeled DIY-style. This early exposure to construction and design sparked her passion for interior architecture. With a decade of experience honing her craft through work for commercial architecture firms, Casey founded Casework in 2015. She continues to refine the process to achieve the most personalized results.

Outside the studio, Casey enjoys remodeling her 1966 Ranchalow in NE Portland, playing tennis, and hosting Friday night dinners. Jordan Allen, our Project Director, brings a sharp attention to detail and extensive experience to her role. She attributes her love of old homes to a year spent in New Orleans volunteering after Hurricane Katrina. Jordan's passion for design and her experience in remodeling two of her own homes make her an invaluable asset to our team.
