Perky's Restaurant is a family-owned and operated dining establishment located at 802 Wards Road, Altavista, Virginia. We take pride in serving the finest fresh meats, seafood, and pasta to our valued customers. Our doors opened on October 13, 1993, and since then, we have been committed to providing exceptional culinary experiences to our patrons.

Our Story

Perky's Restaurant was founded by Gay Perkins and the late Lee Perkins, affectionately known as "Perky." Today, Gay and her son Greg Toren own the restaurant, with Greg operating as the General Manager and Chef. Our restaurant is situated on Rt. 29 South of Lynchburg, approximately 20 minutes from the Lynchburg Airport and 30 minutes from Danville. You can't miss our iconic Perky's License Plate Sign!

Our Services

At Perky's Restaurant, we offer a range of services to ensure that your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. We recommend reservations, especially for parties of five or more, to ensure that we can accommodate you comfortably. You can also take advantage of our take-out service, and we accept all major credit cards. Our hours of operation are Tuesday through Thursday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Friday and Saturday from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and we are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Our Cuisine

Our menu features an array of mouth-watering dishes, including appetizers, steak, seafood, and pasta. Our Chef and General Manager, Greg Toren, has a remarkable talent for grilling, and our steaks are renowned for being the best in the area. Our fresh grilled seafood is also extremely popular, and we have a great selection of beers and a fully stocked bar.
