Founded in 1994, Buzzardball Youth Basketball has evolved from a small summer basketball program into Northern California's premier youth basketball experience. Our programs emphasize life skills development through basketball, offering structured leagues and camps for boys and girls in kindergarten through 9th grade. Under the leadership of Director Steve Buzzard and his team of experienced coaches, who include both former participants and basketball professionals, we maintain strong partnerships with the Sacramento Kings, Jesuit High School, and local community organizations.With over 1,100 participants annually across our Winter League, Summer Camp, and Summer League programs, we deliver a consistent, high-quality experience featuring NBA-style uniforms, championship games at the Golden 1 Center, and specialized training for all skill levels. Our unique all-play policy ensures equal participation while our volunteer coach model fosters community engagement and mentorship.
