At Bright Life Playschool, we believe that the early years of a child's life are the most formative and pivotal in shaping their future. Our mission is to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development in children from 3 months to 5 years old. Our team of dedicated and experienced educators are committed to creating a play-based curriculum that is tailored to the unique needs and interests of each child, allowing them to grow and thrive at their own pace.

Our Approach

Our school is inspired by the Reggio Approach, which emphasizes the importance of community, self-directed learning, and hands-on exploration. We believe that children are capable and competent learners who deserve to be treated with respect, kindness, and understanding. Our educators act as facilitators and guides, providing a rich and stimulating environment that encourages children to explore, discover, and learn through play.

Our Services

We offer full-day programs at both of our locations, including Mindbody and Orcutt Rd. Our programs are designed to meet the unique needs of children at different stages of development, from infancy to preschool age. Our curriculum is child-led and play-based, with a focus on social-emotional development, language and literacy, math and science, and creative expression. We also provide a healthy and nutritious snack program, as well as opportunities for outdoor play and exploration.

Our Goals

Our goal is to form and promote positive relationships between all children and adults in our school family, encouraging a healthy self-image in each child and a sense of belonging to a greater community. We strive to provide a rich, multi-sensory environment that promotes social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development, while allowing and embracing differences so that each child may achieve a sense of self-esteem and self-regulation.

Our Expansion

We are excited to announce the expansion of our school to a new location at Mindbody, where we have added new outdoor play areas and individual classrooms to maximize space while maintaining the comfortable, zen-like flow that we have always had at our previous sites. We have also added new classes for 3 months to 4 year old children, and are thrilled to offer more opportunities for families to join our community.
