At Pathway Karate Academy, we believe in a holistic approach to martial arts training. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and challenging environment for individuals of all ages to develop their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. We are committed to sharing the values of traditional martial arts, while adapting to the needs of modern-day learners.

Our Story

Our story began in 1964, when Grand Master Hiroyuki Hamada created Nihon Koden Shindo Ryu, a style of Karatedo that emphasizes the fusion of traditional Japanese Karatedo with modern techniques. Our Academy is proud to be the only US practicing location under Sensei Mark Mason, 5th Dan Black Belt and Master So-Shihan Felton Messina, 10th Dan Black Belt US, 7th Dan Black Belt Japan. We are members of the USA National Karate Federation and the World Karate Federation, allowing our students to participate in regional, national, and international competitions.

Our Services

At Pathway Karate Academy, we offer a range of programs and services designed to meet the unique needs of our students. Our programs include:

• Karate & Self-Defense: Learn the art of Karate and self-defense techniques in our adult and youth classes.
• Before & After School Programs: Provide a safe and engaging environment for children before and after school, with activities such as homework help, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
• Summer & Vacation Camps: Join us for a fun-filled summer or vacation camp experience, with activities such as karate, arts and crafts, games, and outdoor adventures.
• Parties & Space Rental: Celebrate your special event with us! We offer party packages and space rentals for birthday parties, corporate events, and more.
• School Age Programs: Our school age programs include after-school activities, homework help, and outdoor play.

Our team of experienced instructors and coaches are dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and challenging environment for our students. Our staff are SafeSport Trained and Certified, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all students. We are also licensed DCYF Providers and Brightstars Accredited.
