Treatment Program for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

We are proud to offer Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). CPT is a 12-session, evidence-based therapy program that has been proven effective in treating PTSD and associated symptoms following a traumatic event. This program is suitable for both military and civilian patients, including adolescents and adults, who have experienced recent or long-standing traumas. In addition to CPT, we continue to provide Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for children and adolescents who have been affected by traumatic events, along with their parents or caregivers. *Sonia M. Rhodie, PhD., Licensed Psychologist*

Dr. Rhodie is the owner and founder of New Day Behavioral Health Center. She received her Doctorate in Psychology, with an emphasis in the area of Clinical Psychology, from The Pennsylvania State University and completed her clinical internship at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Rhodie has an extensive history of providing psychological and counseling services in various settings, including hospitals, community mental health centers, and private practice. She specializes in trauma, mood disorders, and women's issues.
