Sue Rosengard Jewelry Design

Sue Rosengard Jewelry Design, Ltd. is a family-owned business founded by Sue Rosengard in New York City. With a background in French from the University of Illinois and studies in Paris and Italy, Sue's journey in jewelry design began with a class at the New School in New York. She continued her education through various classes and eventually returned to her hometown of Chicago to start making jewelry full-time.

Our Story

Inspired by the modernist era and designers like Margaret de Patta, Paul Lobel, Alexander Calder, and Russell Wright, Sue's designs are a blend of contemporary geometric shapes and timeless elegance. Each piece is handcrafted primarily in silver, gold, and black, making them unique and appealing to people of all ages and tastes. The goal is to create jewelry that complements one's style and personality, as stated by Oscar de la Renta, "Fashion is a trend. Style lives within a person."

Our Studio

Located in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, our 1000 square foot studio is situated on the first floor of a building built shortly after the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. The space has retained its old-world charm, providing a welcome contrast to our contemporary designs. We have a dedicated team, including an assistant, and two resident dogs that help keep us company.
