Cudahy Kennel Club

Cudahy Kennel Club is a thriving and dedicated community of dog enthusiasts that has been serving the greater Milwaukee area since 1972. Located in St. Francis, Wisconsin, our all-breed American Kennel Club (AKC) dog club is passionate about providing a safe, positive, and friendly environment for dog owners to build strong bonds with their canine companions.

Our club offers an array of training classes for purebred and mixed breed dogs, ranging from the fundamentals of obedience to the thrills of competing in various sports and events. We take great pride in our diverse course selection, which includes:

• Agility: This exciting and fast-paced sport requires dogs to navigate through a series of obstacles with precision, speed, and grace. Our classes cater to dogs of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned competitors.

• Barn Hunt: A sport inspired by the traditional roles of barn dogs, this activity involves dogs hunting for rats in a straw-filled bunker maze. It's a mentally stimulating and gratifying event for both the dog and the handler.

• Conformation: This is the classic "dog show" event where dogs are judged based on their adherence to their breed standards. Our classes will help you prepare your dog for the show ring, ensuring they look and act their best.

• Fast CAT & CAT Fetch: A timed 100-yard dash where dogs chase a lure, showcasing their natural prey drive and athleticism. These events are exhilarating for both the dog and the handler, providing a unique bonding experience.

• Obedience & Rally: These classes teach dogs the fundamentals of obedience, such as heeling, sitting, staying, and coming when called. Rally adds an element of fun by incorporating a course with various stations, challenging the handler and dog to work as a team.

• Scent Work: This activity allows dogs to use their incredible sense of smell to locate specific scents, simulating the work of detection dogs. Scent work is both mentally and physically rewarding for dogs and fosters a deep sense of pride and confidence.

• Special Testing Classes: We offer specialized classes for dogs with unique abilities and talents, such as tracking, therapy dog work, and temperament testing.
