At River Valley Ranch, Inc., we're passionate about providing our guests with an unforgettable horseback riding experience. Nestled along the picturesque Minnesota River, our ranch spans over 400 acres and is home to over 50 beautiful horses. Since our establishment in 1962, we've been dedicated to offering a unique and enjoyable experience for all our visitors.

Located just a few miles north of Highway 169 and south of Highway 212 in Carver, Minnesota, we're easily accessible from the metro area. Our facility is open every day, weather permitting, from 10 am to 6 pm on weekdays and 10 am to 5 pm on weekends.

Our Services

Our primary focus is on horseback riding and trail rides. We offer a variety of rides to cater to different skill levels and preferences. Whether you're a seasoned rider or a beginner, we have something for everyone.

We also provide pasture boarding for horse owners who want their horses to graze freely in our expansive pastures. Our experienced staff ensures that all horses receive the best care and attention.

Customer Pricing

We offer competitive pricing for our horseback riding services. Our per-person pricing includes:

• 1 Hour Trail Ride: $60 cash/$63 Credit
• 1 Hour Private Ride: $90 cash/$94 Credit
• 2 Hour Trail Ride: $120 cash/$125 Credit
• 2 Hour Private Ride: $150 cash/$156 Credit
• 1/2 Hour Horse Ride: $30 cash/$31 Credit

Riding Details

We take horseback riding reservations by calling 952-361-3361. Reservations are taken on the hour to ensure appropriate group sizes. All riders must be at least 52 inches tall with a maximum weight of 250 lbs to ride, and there is no double riding. Our staff will pick a horse based on your skill level. You must have the physical ability to mount the horse unassisted.

If you're late for your trail riding reservations, we cannot guarantee, make allowances for, or honor your reservations, when applicable. If you arrive earlier than 15 minutes before your reservation, you'll have to wait your turn.

Liability Release Form

All riders under the age of 18 must have a signed release form from a parent or guardian to ride. Absolutely no exceptions.
