Akim Nyormoi, MS, OTR/L - Snohomish & Canyon Park
Akim is a holistic orthopedic occupational therapist with a deep commitment to personalized care. Akim's expertise encompasses a wide spectrum, including specialized hand therapy, custom orthotic fabrication, addressing complex orthopedic and neurologic conditions, joint hypermobility spectrum conditions, sports rehabilitation, and a multifaceted approach to pain management. Akim's mission is to empower patients on their path to recovery, enhancing their mobility, mechanics, posture, and overall well-being. Akim earned his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Spalding University in 2016 and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Biomechanics from the University of Indianapolis in 2013.
Allister Brookes, MPT, ASTYM Cert. - Snohomish
As a former collegiate football and lacrosse player, Allister has a passion for sports medicine. He brings his active mindset to the clinic each day, helping his patients recover and return to their favorite activities, whether it's competitive sports, hiking, or gardening. Allister has specialized training in 3D Maps, Functional Training, Astym, Kinesiotaping, Manual Therapy, Certified Post Surgical Treatment, Spine & Extremities, and VRS Specialist for Vertigo.
Christopher Overfield, LMP - Snohomish
Christopher earned his license requirements through Bellevue Massage School and has been working closely with Physical Therapists in the Snohomish area for over 15 years. His unique combination of Myofascial Release and Cranio/Sacral techniques in a medical-based massage gently allows the body to release tension for an increase in mobility and function to get you back to your daily routine.
Mary Friedman, MSPT - Snohomish
Mary earned her Master's degree in physical therapy from Boston University and has been practicing for over 20 years. Mary has experience in treating all types of musculoskeletal problems. Her rehabilitation approach focuses on patient education, manual therapy techniques, and exercise to achieve patients' goals for return to functional daily activities, work, and recreation. Mary is certified in Modern Management of the Older Adult through the Institute of Clinical Excellence.
