Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Robert Groat, MD is a renowned ophthalmologist with over 40 years of experience in the field. He graduated from Harvard Medical School and completed his ophthalmology residency at Washington University Medical School.
Dr. Chris Groat, MD is a skilled ophthalmologist with expertise in comprehensive ophthalmology, glaucoma, and eyelid surgery. He graduated from St. George's University and completed his ophthalmology residency at West Virginia University.
Dr. Scott Groat, MD is a native of Greensboro and a graduate of Davidson College and the University of Texas at San Antonio. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas at Houston.
Dr. Sandy Thimmappa Cohen, MD is a fellowship-board certified trained cornea specialist with expertise in cornea infections, pterygiums, and contact lens-related issues. She graduated from Emory University and the Medical College of Virginia and completed her ophthalmology residency at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Meet Our Surgical Assistant
Albert Lundquist is a surgeon assistant and physician assistant with extensive experience in ophthalmic surgery and medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from Berry College and completed his training at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
