Unlocking Potential Through Comprehensive Services
Dynamic Tutoring Service is dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of services designed to meet the unique needs of each student. Their services extend beyond traditional tutoring, encompassing diagnostic testing, individualized instruction, and specialized programs tailored to address specific learning styles and academic goals.
Diagnostic Testing and Learning Style Identification
At the heart of Dynamic Tutoring Service's approach is a meticulous diagnostic process. Upon entering the program, students undergo a series of assessments conducted in a one-on-one setting, lasting approximately one and a half to two hours. These tests cover various aspects of academic performance, including ability, achievement, perceptual skills, mathematics comprehension, reading fluency, phonics knowledge, memory, written language abilities, and potential learning disabilities.
In addition to identifying academic strengths and weaknesses, Dynamic Tutoring Service also assesses students' learning styles to tailor their instruction accordingly. Students in third grade or above are evaluated for their visual, auditory, tactile, or kinesthetic learning preferences. This personalized approach ensures that instruction is delivered in a way that resonates best with each student's unique learning needs.
By understanding a student's learning style, instructors can select appropriate materials and employ instructional techniques that maximize their comprehension and engagement. For example, visual learners benefit from materials like textbooks, diagrams, and multimedia presentations, while auditory learners thrive in environments that incorporate listening, discussion, and verbal feedback. Tactile learners learn best through hands-on activities and manipulatives, and kinesthetic learners benefit from movement and physical experiences.
