Our Process

Our process begins with an in-home design consultation, where our craftsman gets to know what is important to you. During this consultation, we will discuss the details of the furniture you have in mind, look at the space, and take measurements. We will then produce a computer-generated drawing of the product you've described, and you will have a chance to make changes before approving the cost of the product.

Once you place your order, we will confirm a description of the piece, the cost, as well as the estimated date of delivery. Most orders take four to six weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of the job and the commissioned work that is already in production. We will keep you informed throughout the entire process, and we welcome our clients to stop by as their piece is being built to confirm wood stain colors, pick out door hardware, or just to visit with Dave over a cup of coffee.

We control every step of the process, from start to finish, ensuring that our quality is unmatched. After we deliver your product, we are always on-hand to answer any remaining questions or to make any necessary changes or additions once you've begun to live with your new product. Products

At DXD Furniture, we specialize in building custom furniture, including desks, entertainment centers, tables, and office furniture. We've even been known to make cabinets for hair salons, wooden forms for custom concrete jobs, and giant Jenga games upon request. We work with you to design whatever you have in mind, using whatever wood interests you, including oak, maple, cherry, birch, pine, or exotic woods.

Our products include cabinets, furniture, and accessories. Our cabinets include built-ins, bookcases, entertainment centers, vanities, kitchen islands, and curio cabinets. Our furniture includes dining room tables and chairs, hutches, pie safes, hope chests, toy chests, beds, wardrobes, and desks. Our accessories include bath and kitchen, mirrors, coat racks, mantels, and giant Jenga games.

In addition, we specialize in reclaimed barnwood furniture. Reclaimed barnwood is plentiful in the Midwest, and we love working with this unique and sustainable material. Our clients enjoy the rustic charm and character of our reclaimed barnwood furniture, which adds a touch of warmth and personality to any space.
