Artistic Motion Dance (AMD) is a vibrant dance studio nestled in the heart of Gilbert, Arizona. Led by owner and director Mandi Smith, the studio has been a beloved pillar of the community since 2007. With a dedicated team of experienced instructors and a passion for dance, AMD offers a diverse array of programs for all ages and skill levels.

A Vision born from Passion

AMD's journey began as a dream fueled by Mandi's deep-seated love for dance. Growing up in Arizona and influenced by the vibrant dancing community, she dreamt of opening her own studio where young dancers could flourish. After years of training and teaching experience, her dream finally materialized in the form of AMD.

Nurturing Young Talent

AMD is dedicated to cultivating the love of dance in young minds through its dynamic youth programs. The Tiny Tots program introduces the joy of movement to even the youngest dancers (2-6 years), while the comprehensive Foundation Classes guide students in their technical development from kindergarten through adolescence.

Reaching New Heights

For more dedicated dancers, AMD offers competitive pathways to pursue their passions. The Stars Performance Team provides a supportive platform for Beg/Int dancers to showcase their talents in local performances. The advanced Emergence Competition Team offers intensive training and opportunities to compete at prestigious events across the region.

A Growing Legacy

Throughout its growth, AMD has moved from a 4,000 square foot studio to its current spacious 13,000 square foot facility, ensuring ample space and resources for its growing student body. The studio's welcoming atmosphere and supportive environment fosters a sense of community and encourages dancers to reach their full potential.
