Welcome to E&R Wineshop, where our passion for wine and people comes alive. For over two decades, we've been on a journey to explore the world of wine, visiting over 1000 wineries and working directly with over 150 producers. Our mission is to share our love for the people and places behind the wines we adore, and to provide unique and interesting wines at fair prices.

Our Story

Our journey began in 1999, when we started our paper-bound newsletter, the "E&R Wine Explorer." The name was inspired by T.S. Eliot's Four Quartets, "we shall not cease from exploration." Over 130 issues later, our newsletter has evolved into a platform to share our passion for wine and the people who make it.

Our Approach

We believe that the best way to appreciate wine is to experience it firsthand. That's why we take the time to walk the ground, talk with the winemakers, and learn the craft of winemaking. We're not about focusing on critics' scores or prices; we're about discovering the heart and soul of each wine. We're proud to have partnered with over 1000 wineries and worked with numerous importers to bring unique and hard-to-find wines to our customers.

Our Team

Our "Rolling Thunder" team of seven women and men are articulate, savvy, and passionate about wine. We're a diverse group with extensive wine knowledge and a love for storytelling. We're committed to sharing our enthusiasm for wine with our customers and the wine community.

Our Events

We host regular wine tastings, trunk shows, and educational events to bring our customers together and introduce them to new wines and winemakers. Our events are designed to be fun, informative, and engaging, and we're proud to have featured notable winemakers and importers from around the world.
