The Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP) is a community-based non-profit organization empowering Virginians with energy efficiency and solar solutions for their homes and businesses. Since 2010, we've been working alongside local stakeholders to promote sustainable energy practices, reduce energy costs, and foster a more resilient and affordable Virginia.

Weatherization & Building Performance

Our Impact

Since our inception, LEAP has:

• Facilitated over 700 solar installations, generating 6.3 MW of clean energy.
• Completed energy upgrades in over 10,000 homes and businesses.
• Saved Virginians over $18 million on their energy bills.
• Created numerous job opportunities in the clean energy sector.
