I enjoyed working with the Virtue Solar team from my initial contact and through the entire installation process. And following installation, they (Peter, Matt and Kim) have responded to my questions just as quickly and thoughtfully as they did during the process. All members are very knowledgeable and able to explain details very well. They kept me informed of the processes and timing as well as scheduling the work needed.
I am very happy with the new production and backup system and especially when my grid power goes out! The battery is very quiet, I really don't hear it at all; its performance happens seamlessly when the grid is down. What a relief to sit back and enjoy the day.

I spent the better part of a year evaluating a host of solar alternatives, including those recommended by online solar system experts. In the end, the low key, professional, well-informed and accessible people I met (Matt Powers, Kim Monge Fera and others) won my business. I could not be happier with the way the installation went. We were connected with Virtue Solar through the Solarize Virginia project and were satisfied from start to finish. The initial contact was quick and friendly. The assessment was realistic and they didn't oversell our production capability. Installation was smooth and they handled all the contact with the electrical coop and county permits timely. When our panels were up and running, we hit a snag on actually being able to use the app and get our data from the equipment.
Virtue Solar worked with us well above and beyond any customer service I have experienced anywhere lately with numerous and lengthy attempts to problem solve (and, ultimately, finding a solution).The response and help were superlative. I highly recommend them.

Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. The system has worked flawlessly and I havent had an electric bill to speak of since install. Service was professional, well priced, and the finished product looks beautiful. I would recommend these guys all day to anyone in Va looking to go solar. I dont give out top notch reviews to those who dont deserve it ( look at my review history) but virtue totally does.

Virtue Solar nailed our solar project. We installed a 14.5kw system with their help. Spec'ed it, came in the lowest bid but handled everything really well. Had some normal software issues with the technology (not a big deal), but they worked with the manufacturer to fix it no problem. Nothing negative to say - just great work at a fantastic price. Really happy with all of it.

It was a great pleasure to work with Matt and his team at Virtue. We purchased panels late in 2018 and he worked with us every step of the way from the quote to the final turning of the switch. He always responded quickly to my silly questions and the quality of work is great. The turnaround was super impressive, especially with the winter weather looming on them. I'd definitely buy panels through Virtue again, and recommend if you're on the fence between them and another company.

The panel array and inverter look great, are unobtrusive, and will get us to net zero with a faster payback thanks to Virtues great work and great pricing. Highly recommended!
