High Altitude Tennis

Hello and welcome to High Altitude Tennis (HAT) in Denver, Colorado! I'm Brent Mazza, the Owner and Director of Tennis at HAT. Tennis is not only my career, but it's my true passion in life. I was born and raised in Southern California, but my tennis journey took me to Boston University in Massachusetts, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Before joining the HAT family, I worked for the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Rhode Island, the Boston Lobsters' World Team Tennis Franchise, and for the Champions Tour. I started my journey at HAT in 2010 as an intern, and over the years, I progressed to assistant pro, head pro, and now director and owner. I am USPTA, PTR, USTA High Performance, and HAT Method Certified and have helped develop champions at every level.

At HAT, we believe that tennis is a game and should, first and foremost, be FUN! We also believe that every learning opportunity is a chance to teach something beyond just technical or tactical skills. We aim to guide our students through the mental, emotional, and golden-rule-of-life aspects of the game. My students call me "Mazza, " and they enjoy my humor, but they also know that I am honest and truthful with them, and they can trust me. I am an active 5.0 and Open tournament and league player, and I am always working on fine-tuning my own game whenever possible, just like our students!

At HAT, we offer a variety of services, including:

• Summer Camps: HAT's summer camps are the highest-rated junior tennis programs in Colorado. We provide a fun, positive, and supportive environment for players of all ages, levels, and abilities. Our camps are designed to help players improve their skills while building long-lasting friendships.
• Private Lessons: Our private lessons are tailored to meet the individual needs of each student. We offer private lessons for players of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. Our certified tennis professionals will work with you to develop a customized plan to help you achieve your goals.
• Enrichment Programs: Our enrichment programs are designed to help students develop their tennis skills while also building character. We offer a variety of enrichment programs, including after-school programs, holiday camps, and special events.
• Group Lessons: Our group lessons are a great way for players to improve their skills while also having fun. We offer group lessons for players of all ages and skill levels. Our certified tennis professionals will work with you to develop a plan to help you achieve your goals.

We have a proven plan built on the principles of skill and character development, and we have a track record of success for the beginner, intermediate, and advanced player! HAT students have been champions at nearly every level of competition, including Pro Tour, ITF, NCAA, High School/CHSAA, and USTA.
