As a studio, we teach hard work and perseverance through the sport of dance, and encourage dancers to use the art form to express themselves in a healthy way. As a community, we support our students as dancers and as people, and inspire them to put love and passion into everything they do.
Why Dance?
Dance classes provide so many benefits for children, including enhancing physical fitness and coordination. During classes, your dancers will improve their flexibility, strength, and balance. This not only helps in developing their motor skills but also promotes a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, dance fosters creativity and self-expression. By learning different dance styles and routines, children are encouraged to explore their imaginations and communicate emotions through movement. Dance classes also instill discipline and perseverance and inspire confidence as dancers practice and perfect new skills and perform their routines in front of a live audience. Perhaps most importantly, dancing in a group setting promotes teamwork and social skills, allowing children to build friendships and learn the importance of cooperation.
Certification
Though our studio is centered around our ballet classes, STARS Dance Academy is the only studio in Omaha, and the first in Nebraska, to be certified by Acrobatic Arts, the only professional curriculum for acrobatic dance. If your dancer hasn't given our Acro program a try, we can't recommend it enough!

STARS Dance Academy is conveniently located off both I-80 and I-680 at 108th and West Center Road in Hilltop Plaza.
