North Jersey Guitar & Music Center is a full-service music store and instruction studio founded in 2003 by owner Shawn Reams. We are a family-owned and operated business dedicated to providing personal, one-on-one service to every customer. Our team is passionate about music and loves sharing it with others. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and safe environment for people of all ages and abilities to learn, grow, and enjoy music.

Music Lessons

We offer private weekly 30-minute lessons for guitar, bass, drums, piano, voice, ukulele, and more. All ages, all styles, all fun! Our experienced instructors are dedicated to helping you reach your musical goals, whether you're a beginner or an experienced musician. We believe that learning music should be enjoyable, and we strive to make each lesson engaging and rewarding.

Online Lessons

We also offer virtual online lessons, allowing you to learn from the comfort of your own home. Our online lessons are designed to be just as effective and enjoyable as our in-person lessons. With our state-of-the-art technology, you'll feel like you're right here in our studio.

Family Safety Plan

Every parent is concerned about their children's safety and well-being. That's why we've invested greatly in our "5-Point Family Safety Plan, " which helps parents ease their minds while their kids are at their music lessons. Our plan includes video/security cameras in every lesson room, glass for observation, office staff on duty during all lesson times, extensive background checks for each teacher, and an open door policy, allowing parents to sit in on any lesson, any time.

Rentals & Repairs

We offer a wide range of musical instruments for rent, including guitars, basses, drums, and more. Our rental program is designed to be affordable and convenient, allowing you to try out an instrument without making a large upfront investment. Additionally, our expert repair team is here to help if your instrument needs any maintenance or repairs.
