Brett's In-Home Music is a premier provider of music lessons "In-Your-Home!" Founded by Brett, the school started as a single teacher traveling all over North Jersey. As the student roster grew, Brett teamed up with like-minded instructors who share his teaching philosophies and dedication to music. We now offer private lessons on a variety of instruments, including piano, guitar, bass, drums, voice, strings, brass, and wind instruments. All teachers working with Brett's In-Home Music are professional musicians and positive role models for students. We believe in the power of music education and its ability to enrich lives, and we are committed to providing the highest quality instruction to students of all ages and skill levels.

Our Services

Brett's In-Home Music offers private, in-home music lessons in Northern NJ. Our professional musicians and educators come to you, providing the convenience of learning in the comfort of your own home. We offer lessons for a wide variety of instruments, including piano, guitar, bass, drums, voice, strings, brass, and wind instruments. Our current students love the teachers and convenience that Brett's In-Home Music provides, and we are confident that you will too.

In addition to in-person lessons, we also offer remote lessons using FaceTime or Zoom. This allows us to continue providing music education to students even when in-person lessons are not possible. Whether you prefer in-person or remote lessons, we are dedicated to providing the best possible music education experience.

Pricing

Our pricing is as follows:

• 30 minutes: $50
• 45 minutes: $70
• 60 minutes: $90

Two consecutive 30 minute lessons in the same house with the same teacher will be billed as 1 hour.

Free Trial Lesson

We offer a free trial lesson to new students so they can experience the quality of our instruction for themselves. This is a great opportunity to meet your teacher, ask any questions you may have, and get a feel for the lesson format. Contact us today to schedule your free trial lesson!

Referrals

We value our students and want to reward you for spreading the word about Brett's In-Home Music. If you refer a new student/household to the school, we will happily reward you with a $45 lesson credit. There is no limit to how many times you can take advantage of this policy, so call your friends today! Just let us know that you referred someone, or make sure they mention your name in the contact form. Referred students must register and take 4 paid classes before your free lesson can be claimed. Credited lessons are for equal or lesser value.

Policies

We want to make your experience as smooth as possible, so here's a quick guide on how we handle lesson scheduling and payments:

• 24 Hour Policy: Any lessons canceled with less than 24 hours' notice will be forfeited. We value our teachers' time and commitment, and they hold specific time slots for you. Paying for lessons shows respect for their dedication and ensures they can continue providing top-quality education. In case of emergencies, our teachers will do their best to accommodate with "time adds" or rescheduling in the future. Let's support our amazing teachers, and thank you for understanding!
• General Cancellations: Consistent attendance is crucial for a student's progress in music. It fosters success and ensures a productive learning experience. Frequent cancellations also impact our teachers' income as they dedicate time for your lessons. Habitual cancellations may lead to the teacher considering dropping the student for a more consistent household. Rescheduling conflict dates, even if it's a month or more into the future, is the best approach for everyone involved.
• Credits: Teacher cancellations that cannot be rescheduled will be credited to your next month's tuition. Our accounting system is automated, but everything is also checked
