Our Mission
FHCE was founded in 1965 by Freeland Harris, who established a relationship with Gray Construction in Bowling Green, KY and began providing structural design services on Gray's projects. Today, FHCE continues the tradition of providing excellent structural design services that Mr. Harris established. We emphasize creative framing and foundation design solutions that add value to our customers' projects while meeting current building codes to ensure the safety of the building's users.

With a combined total of over 150 years of experience, our team has designed and prepared pricing for fast-track, design-build industrial projects; shallow and deep foundation design for conventional and pre-engineered structures; industrial slab-on-grade design, including reinforced and non-reinforced slab, with rack and forklift loading; control/construction joint details; conventional steel structures design, including crane buildings, multi-story process structures design, and existing building evaluations. We believe that close coordination with all design and construction team members is critical to successful projects.
