As a licensed psychologist, I have over 20 years of experience in clinical practice, with a specialization in treating clients dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, addictions, relationship issues, anger management, life transitions, and grief and loss. I have a strong background in clinical psychology, having received my doctorate degree from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, CA, and am a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist.

My approach is centered around creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment, where you feel comfortable expressing yourself and exploring your thoughts and emotions. I am trained in various therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic, humanistic/existential, cognitive-behavioral, and depth psychology. My training and experience have equipped me to work with individuals of all ages, as well as couples, addressing a wide range of issues and challenges.

Individual Therapy
In individual therapy, we address a range of issues, including:
- Depression and depressive symptoms: irritability, fatigue, lack of motivation, diminished interest in pleasurable activities, weight loss or weight gain
- Mood instability: mood swings, rapid cycling mood states
- Anxiety symptoms: general anxiety, social anxiety (dating, public speaking), PTSD and trauma (early childhood and recent traumatic events)
- Substance Abuse and Addictions: alcohol, nicotine, legal and illegal drugs, internet, shopping, pornography, etc.
- Stress Management: learn effective stress relief techniques such as relaxation and mindfulness

Couples' Therapy (EFT) and Parenting
In couples therapy, we focus on improving communication skills and dialogue, increasing intimacy and connection, managing and repairing conflict, and addressing financial issues. My work in couple's therapy is guided by the work of the Gottman Institute and Sue Johnson's Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), providing both language and techniques to help couples identify and understand their stuck places and shift from destructive patterns of interaction.
