Espresso Bueno is an independent coffee shop located in Barre, Vermont, featuring specialty coffee roasters from around the region. We opened our doors in July 2007 with a simple yet profound mission: to create a warm and welcoming space where our customers can enjoy high-quality coffee and delicious food. Our commitment to serving the best possible products has earned us a loyal customer base, and we are thrilled to continue serving our community.

Our Story

Our journey began when we realized that our neighborhood lacked a local coffee shop where people could gather, share stories, and enjoy a great cup of coffee. We decided to fill this void by opening Espresso Bueno, a place where we could offer a unique and enjoyable experience to our customers. Since then, we have been brewing strong, serving a variety of specialty coffee drinks made from beans roasted by Vermont Artisan Coffee Roasters. Our skilled baristas are dedicated to their craft, ensuring that every cup of coffee that leaves our shop is of the highest quality.

In 2013, we moved to a larger location to accommodate our growing customer base and to offer a wider range of services. This move allowed us to expand our menu to include more breakfast, lunch, and pastry items to complement our coffee offerings. We also started hosting events such as comedy nights and live music performances, making Espresso Bueno a hub of activity in the heart of Barre.

I don't go to Barre too often, but when I do I'm always tempted to stop here."
