Summer Breeze Campground

Welcome to Summer Breeze Campground, situated on the Northwestern edge of Iron Mountain in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. We are proud to offer 70 large, grassy campsites consisting of 28 full hook up sites and 42 water and electric sites. All full hook up sites have 50 amp electric service. We also have a primitive area with no hookups for tenters, and a camping cabin that sleeps 4. Over half of our sites are pull through sites with lengths from 65 to 100 feet and 40 foot widths to accommodate the largest rigs with multiple slide outs.

We also have "buddy sites" available in either full hook ups or water/electric. These are 2 sites that face each other so you and a friend can camp side by side and put your doors/awnings facing each other. Come and check out our highly rated bathrooms, do a load of laundry, shop for gifts and unique items in our store or just kick back and relax at your site. We provide a safe and quiet environment for you to relax and enjoy the beauty of the northwoods, and yet we are only minutes from dining, shopping, museums, and other attractions.

Amenities

At Summer Breeze Campground, we strive to provide you with all the amenities you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Our amenities include clean, modern restrooms with free, hot showers, an inground swimming pool heated to approximately 78 degrees, a playground, volleyball, basketball, tetherball, horseshoes, and corn hole games. We also have a hiking trail, approximately 1/4 mile in length, a laundry room, a camp store with camp supplies, limited groceries, gifts, souvenirs, and T-shirts, and free video rentals. Book exchange and WiFi are available to most of the park. We have a dump station, fire ring, and picnic table at each site. Our pet-friendly policy ensures that your furry friends are welcome to join you on your vacation.

Area Info

Iron Mountain, Michigan is one of the gateways to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan from Wisconsin. It is 2 hours from Green Bay, 3 1/2 hours from Milwaukee, and 5 hours from Chicago. Iron Mountain is one of the largest cities in the Upper Peninsula and offers everything from lush forests, miles of rivers and streams, four seasons of outdoor recreation, and abundant wildlife along with festivals, museums, outdoor recreational opportunities, and unique shopping and dining opportunities.

Policies

We have a natural setting with trees and grass, so if you need satellite, please make that known at the time of your reservation so we can do our best to accommodate you. We do not have cable TV, but we have a few channels that are available on regular antenna.
