Our Story

Benzing Surveying, LLC was established in 2015 by Ryland and Shannon Benzing. Ryland, with an A.A.S. degree in Civil & Construction Engineering Technology and over 16 years of experience, brings technical expertise to the table. Shannon, holding a B.S. degree in Business Management, oversees the business operations. Their combined knowledge and experience make them uniquely qualified to manage and deliver a wide range of surveying services.

Services Offered

Our services include Land and Boundary Surveying, Mapping & Pre-Construction Surveying, and Construction Staking. We also offer Hydrographic Surveying and Drones/sUAS Surveying for more efficient and accurate data collection. Our expertise spans various sectors such as agricultural, residential, industrial, commercial, mining, construction, and educational.

Land and Boundary Surveying

We provide a range of services including Lot or Parcel -Boundary Locations and Retracements, Subdivision Platting, Certified Survey Maps, Land Development, Right-of-Way Acquisitions, and Easements. Our team is well-equipped to handle complex surveys and ensure that all projects meet local and national standards.

Mapping & Pre-Construction Surveying

Our mapping services include Topographic Mapping, Aerial Photo Mapping, FEMA Elevation Certificates, and FEMA LOMA's. We assist clients in preparing for construction by providing accurate maps and data.

Construction Staking

In the construction phase, we offer Construction Staking and Layout Control, Benchmark Establishment, Monument Preservation and Restoration, and Earthwork Volume Calculations. Our experience in this area ensures that projects are completed efficiently and accurately.
