At World Class Taekwondo, we are dedicated to providing a traditional and professional martial arts training experience that benefits not only our students, but also our community. With almost two decades of experience under our belt, our team is led by Master Mark Thibodeau, the highest ranked master in taekwondo in Lake County.

Our Mission

Our mission is to instill in our students the core values of taekwondo - courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and an indomitable spirit. We strive to create a supportive and welcoming environment where students of all ages and backgrounds can come together to learn and grow. Our instructors are committed to teaching a traditional style of taekwondo that develops the whole person, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Programs

We offer a range of programs suited to different age groups and skill levels. Our programs include:

Kids Martial Art Program (ages 4-12)

Developing a passion for martial arts from a young age is crucial for building a strong foundation. At World Class Taekwondo, we prioritize the development of our youngest students, ensuring they receive a fun and engaging learning experience.

Teen Martial Art Program (ages 12+)

Between social media, peer pressure, and the demands of school, teens today face numerous distractions. Our taekwondo program provides benefits that go far beyond the dojo, including improved focus, discipline, and self-confidence.

Adult Martial Art Program (ages 18+)

Our adult martial art classes focus on self-defense, fitness, and a wide variety of skills and techniques. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced martial artist, we have the perfect class for you.

History

Veteran-owned World Class Taekwondo was established in August 2004 and has been teaching students how to kick their way to the top for almost 20 years. Our owner, Master Mark Thibodeau, discovered his passion for martial arts at the age of 7 and hasn't stopped training since. With over 30 years of experience, Master Thibodeau is dedicated to sharing his knowledge and skills with the community.
