About Dr. John Lewis

Before pursuing his doctoral degree, Dr. Lewis received training in various inpatient and outpatient clinics, working with clients of all ages, from children to adults. He earned his Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology from George Mason University in 1995. Prior to establishing his practice, Dr. Lewis worked at the Northwest Center for Community Mental Health in Reston, Virginia, and the Psychology Department of the Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center in Jessup, Maryland. Recently, he served as the Forensic Services Manager for the Santa Barbara County Department of Behavioral Wellness.
