Focus: Meds Pharmacy and Wellness is an independent retail pharmacy located in Charleston, South Carolina. Our vision is to prioritize the health of our patients, and we strive to meet their individual healthcare needs through our comprehensive pharmacy services. Our Team
Our team is made up of experienced and dedicated professionals who are committed to providing excellent pharmacy services. Our pharmacist-in-charge, Krisalyn K. Gleaton, is a native of Charleston and a graduate of Hampton University. She has obtained specialty certification in Cardiovascular Disease Management, Medication Therapy Management, and Pharmacist-administered Immunization Delivery. Our pharmacy technicians, Ranata Thompson and Carly Shreck, have extensive experience in the pharmacy field and are dedicated to providing excellent care to our long-term care patients. Our staff pharmacist, Dr. Sarah Batchelder, is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina and has vast experience in community pharmacy practice. Katreia Dabner, our office manager and staff nurse, has over 20 years of experience in the field of nursing and is dedicated to providing excellent care to our patients.
Services
We offer a wide range of services at Focus: Meds Pharmacy and Wellness. We accept online orders for prescription medication refills and offer medication therapy management to ensure that our patients are getting the most benefit from their medications. We also offer immunizations, medication synchronization, delivery services, and vitamins and nutritional supplements.
One of our unique services is our compounding service. Compounding is the process of creating personalized medications by mixing or altering ingredients. This service allows us to create medications that are tailored to the specific needs of our patients, including those who may have allergies or sensitivities to certain ingredients, or those who require medications that are not commercially available.
In addition to our pharmacy services, we are also committed to providing patient education. We believe that educated patients are better able to manage their health and make informed decisions about their care. We offer resources and information on a variety of health topics, including weight management and medication safety.
Long-Term Care
We are committed to providing excellent care to our long-term care patients. We understand the unique needs of these patients and offer specialized services to meet those needs. Our long-term care pharmacy technicians are experienced in handling the complex medication regimens of these patients and are dedicated to providing excellent care.
