At Robinson Ballet, we are passionate about providing high-quality dance education and performances that inspire and engage our community. Our mission is to offer education for people of all ages, abilities, and aspirations, and to bring the joy of dance to everyone.

Our School

The School of Robinson Ballet is dedicated to providing our students with exceptional dance training and education. We offer a wide range of classes, including ballet, pointe, partnering, modern, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and tap, for children and adults ages 3 and older. Our experienced and knowledgeable instructors are committed to helping our students achieve their full potential and develop a lifelong appreciation for dance.

ACHIEVE Program

Our ACHIEVE program, or Arts Can Help Inspire Everyone to Excel, is a series of educational outreach programs designed to bring dance education into area schools and organizations. This program further continues our mission to engage the community through dance by offering education for people of all ages, abilities, and aspirations.

Performances

As a premier performance company, Robinson Ballet performs in theaters throughout the state of Maine. Our performances include full-length classical ballets, as well as contemporary and modern dance works. We also offer special storybook ballets tailored for and performed by children, making dance accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Our History

Founded in 1977, Robinson Ballet has a rich history of providing exceptional dance education and performances. Our artistic directors, Keith and Maureen Robinson, are dedicated to continuing the legacy of Ralph Robinson and Jeanne-Marie Aubert, who founded the company.
