At R&D Metal Fabricators, Inc., we have been a privately owned and operated precision sheet metal fabrication plant since 1972. With over 40 years of experience, we have established ourselves as a leading provider of high-quality sheet metal fabrication services in Orange County, California. Our primary mission is to produce the best product possible, and we strive to achieve this by maintaining high standards in service, quality of products, cost, and delivery.

Our Capabilities

Our state-of-the-art 40,000 square-foot plant is equipped with a range of cutting-edge machinery, including two 4,000-watt CNC Amada laser machines, one CNC Vipros Queen turret press, nine CNC precision metal forming machines, three hardware insertion machines, and Mig & Tig Welding equipment. Our team of experienced engineers uses design and engineering support-driven programs such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Bend Cam, Dr. Abe_Blank, and AP100 to work efficiently with our customers. We can perform production runs from bare metal to finished product, including plating, painting, and silk screening through outsourced providers.

• ACIES 2515T: AMADA's ACIES Punch/Laser combination machine, which provides productivity and scratch-free processing of complex sheet metal parts.
• HG 1003 ATC: AMADA's HG servo/hydraulic press brake and Automatic Tool Changer (ATC), which provides the optimal bending solution for high-mix, low-volume production.
• FOL AJ Fiber Laser: An innovative fiber laser designed to produce high-quality parts at unmatched speed while reducing operating costs.
• LC-3015F1NT: A series of laser cutting machines that provide high-speed processing, ultra-precise accuracy, and superior cutting quality.
• Amada FBD 1253 NT: A press brake that produces straight, even bends across the length of the machine, while gaining superb performance in processing small and large parts.
• FabriVISION: A high-tech, laser-based inspection machine that increases inspection performance, quality control processes, and production capacity.
• Haeger 824 Plus: A machine that produces exceptional results, featuring 8 tons of ram force and 24 inches of throat depth.
• AP100US: A CAD/CAM package that is widely used for metal fabrication and provides a stable software environment.
• Dr. ABE: High-tech software for sheet metal fabrication that reduces latency and improves shop productivity.
• Dr. ABE_Bend: A program that is designed to optimize bending operations and improve productivity.
