Mark West Stables

Welcome to Mark West Stables, where we offer a wide range of equestrian services including lessons, training, day camp, leases, and sales. Located just 5 minutes from Santa Rosa's Rincon Valley, our facility boasts a huge all-weather outdoor arena and a lighted indoor arena set on 85 beautiful acres. We are easily accessible from downtown Santa Rosa, Windsor, and both the Napa and Sonoma valleys.

Our friendly and professional Hunter/Jumper barn is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for both horses and riders. With over two decades of experience, our owner and trainer, Virginie Richard, is passionate about teaching riding skills to students of all levels. Her dedication has created a team of skilled trainers and staff who share her passion for equestrian excellence.

Whether you're looking for private lessons, group lessons, or day camp, we have programs designed to suit every level of rider. Lesson Program

Our lesson program is designed to cater to riders of all levels, from beginners to advanced. All students begin with a 1/2 hr private evaluation lesson, which helps us tailor their training to their individual needs and goals. Once comfortable, riders can transition to group lessons, which are limited to six people to ensure personalized attention. Our emphasis on safety and individualized instruction has earned us a reputation for excellence in the equestrian community.

Summer Camp

For a fun and educational experience, our summer camps are designed for kids aged 7-12. Each week-long day camp offers the opportunity to improve riding and horsemanship skills through a variety of activities. Both horses and ponies are available to suit individual riding needs. Our camps are very popular and fill up fast, so please sign up early to reserve a space for your child.
