As a not-for-profit financial institution, we are member-owned and controlled through a board of directors elected by our membership. Our board serves on a volunteer basis and is responsible for establishing and revising policies, setting dividend and loan rates, and directing certain operations.

At Farmers Federal Credit Union, our members' savings are insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a US government agency. This means that our members' savings are protected in the unlikely event of a failure by the credit union.
