At W. Brown Land Surveying, Inc., we pride ourselves on being professional, experienced, and service-oriented. Founded in 1983 by Woodrow "Woody" Brown, our company has been serving the Twin Cities and surrounding areas for over 30 years. We've built a reputation for delivering high-quality surveying services, from residential and commercial surveys to complex projects like subdividing land and construction staking.
Our Expertise
We offer a wide range of services, including Cadastral Surveys to determine property boundaries, Surveys for Permitting to ensure compliance with local regulations, ALTA/NSPS Surveys for detailed property information, and Subdividing Land services for administrative lot splits and recorded plats. Our team also specializes in Site PLANS for new constructions and renovations, and Construction Staking to ensure that your project is built on the correct site.
Meet Our Team
Our team is led by founder and president Woodrow "Woody" Brown, a professional land surveyor with over 50 years of experience. Other key members include Gus LeSavage, a professional land surveyor and survey crew member; Chad Elvin, our Lead CAD draftsman; Matt Brown, Senior Crew Chief; Joe Norgaard, Senior Crew Chief; and Tyler Stanley, Junior Crew Chief. Kathy Hintze serves as our Executive Assistant, handling project administration and coordination.
