Meet Our Therapist
Sheila Williamson, LMHC, LCAC, CCS, ICAC II, is a licensed mental health counselor, licensed clinical addictions counselor, and clinical supervisor specializing in individual, adult, and couples mental health and/or addictions therapy. With over 20 years of experience as a therapist, Sheila has presented at national conferences and spoken to general audiences on topics such as faith and community-based treatment, mental illness and addictions in the treatment of military service personnel, effective patient communication in a medical setting, building rapport with your client, community re-entry, jail and prison ministry, volunteering in a prison setting, serious and violent offender re-entry, and more.
Sheila is an interactive, solution-focused therapist who integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach for client-centered treatment and supportive services specifically tailored for each client's needs. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
Education and Expertise
Sheila has extensive education and training in trauma, psychopharmacology, schizophrenia, mood disorders, sexual addictions, CBT, DBT, anger management, CPE, and more. She has also received training in criminal justice, serious and violent offender re-entry, psychological assessment, motivational interviewing, and peer recovery from organizations such as Wishard Hospital, IN DOC, and SAMSHA.
