History

C.P. Ward Inc.'s roots can be traced back to the early 1900s when Mr. Conrad P. Ward, the company's founder, began his career as a mason working for the Rochester Railway and Light Company in Rochester, New York. With a vision to expand his horizons, Mr. Ward established his own masonry contracting business in 1913, and the C.P. Ward Company quickly grew into a reputable and successful enterprise. In 1924, the company was incorporated, and Mr. Ward sold his assets to the corporation, including his horse and wagons.
