Transform Your Home with the Power of Cork
At our practice, we believe that "Awareness is the greatest agent for change" - Eckhart Tolle. Our aim is to support and guide you in making the changes you desire in your life. We offer a range of services, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), supportive counselling, and coaching.
Background and Experience
As a Clinical Psychologist, I have over twelve years of experience working in the British National Health Services' major teaching hospitals and clinics across central London. I have supported individuals from diverse backgrounds with a variety of conditions, such as depression, anxiety, phobias, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and pain management. My approach is cognitive behavioural, focusing on identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours.
In 2012, I relocated to Switzerland (Zug) where I worked with children in international middle school settings. I conducted workshops on anti-bullying and empathy, and also provided individual therapy to students. Following my move to Geneva in 2016, I completed the Co-Active coaching course and began working as a coach, helping clients navigate stress and find fulfilment and balance in their lives. I have also co-led workshops on wellbeing in organisations.
Having obtained my equivalencies to practice in Geneva in 2019, I started my English speaking therapy practice, primarily supporting members of the expat community. My multicultural background - Swedish/American/British - and experience living in several different countries, including Germany, Sweden, USA, Switzerland, and the UK, enables me to understand the unique challenges that clients in the Geneva area may face.
Therapy Services
At our practice, we offer a safe and supportive space for you to share, connect, reflect, learn, and transform. Consultations are primarily in English, but I am also fluent in Swedish and have a working knowledge of German and French.
We offer the following therapies:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): A practical, problem-focused approach to help you learn new ways of thinking and behaving to manage your problems.
- Supportive Counselling: A collaborative and empathetic approach to help you explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences, and find ways to cope with life's challenges.
- Coaching: A goal-oriented and strengths-based approach to help you identify and achieve your goals, and navigate life's challenges.
All consultations can take place either in person or virtually. During the initial assessment, which comprises 1-3 sessions, we will define the best way forward, tailored to your specific needs.
